Hiya Pom,
How about coming across to see us at LDT.
We can offer a a complete two hour session for £80.
That includes one-to-one tuition with an ex LRE Instructor on a course specifically designed for the use of the D3 and its systems.
Our two mile dedicated off-road course is set in the beautiful Lincolnshire wolds and includes ruts, ditches, climbs, steep descents and water. You wont be dissapointed!
With your forum discount you can bring a friend for no extra cost.
Just a thought.

Pom,
I went on a one day driver training course using your own vehicle at Rockingham near Corby, only an hour away. The course cost £ 50.00 for the day but for an additional £ 15.00 you can have a second driver, the course is an LRE site and was booked through Protrax on 01858 535552, this is advertised in the lro magazine - adventure club run by Vince Cobley. It is usually one instructor to 4/5 vehicles but on the day we booked we only had our d3, a 110 and Disco 1. It included all aspects of non damaging offroad both in the vehicle and observing the terrain on foot and i came away feeling it was money very well spent.
Hope this helps
ps future training days are august 21, september 18, october 23.

Hi, apologies if I've got this wrong but that seems incredibly good value - is £50 correct? Anyone else done it?
Thanks

Yep... done it in my aged D1 and it is very good value!
Rockingham is quite a good site and has easy access and (unless you are reckless) should be non-damaging!
