Ukraine

Just been playing with the planning app and noticed something odd on a foreign route I sometimes do. It wants you to to max 70kph on UK, French & Belgian motorways. Seriously? Shocked

Another thing I’ve noticed on the UK routed I’ve tried is how often the charging point is off the motorway and in some shopping centre, car park or the likes.

Just up on Harry's

Hybrid info ; most interesting , but I'd say saving GBP1500pa running a GBP76k car is splitting hairs though . Depreciation in 4 years would be around GBP30k

Recharging on roads can be 10 X cost of recharging at home !

Topping up electric car batteries using a public charger can cost almost 10 TIMES more than plugging in at home, What Car? reports.

The cost to boost an Audi E-tron from 10-80% charge at home during night-time off-peak hours costs £4.66. The same charge can cost up to £45.89 at an Ionity ultra-rapid charger!!

Comparative costs:-

It costs me the same as it does as charging at home. Wink

…. although that is because I am an Ecotricity customer ….. and it also assumes that their damn chargers are working !!!
