Rear wiper a DSG????

Hello everybody, i have two questions:
1 When do you think it's better in off-road switch off the DSG? I have MTR Tyres...
2 My rear wiper didn't clean very well so i bought a new-one but still not cleaning like the front wipers.. Do you think that is the pressure of the coil-spring or i have to buy a different aftermarket wiper?

There is a later type of rear wiper arm that is better protected from road dirt. Its a free upgrade if you ask for it in the UK!.

The old type got dirt lodged in the pivot, and it siezed up.

Also and more importantly has a stronger spring.

And the DSG (called DSC in normal circles) is best switched off when off road when steep inclines require power to be available at all times. It cuts the engine power sometimes when you least need it to.

On slippery tracks its best left on.

Never truly goes away though.

As I found out on Saturday when the blooming thing stalled right at the top of a pretty steep slope.

Luckly I had a very exeprienced off roader in the seat next to me.

I went to the dealer and he told me that the later type of rear wiper in the US it's not arrive.
Last question;
In a normal street wich is the best pressure for the MTR Good year tyre 255/55/19? The usuall 33Ps in front and 42PS in the Back?

I inflate them to 36front 45rear. I have found that with these pressures I get even wear across the tread pattern. In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.
