Rear Wiper Blade - Disco 4

Hey folks,

Looking to replace my wiper blades. I'm going for the Bosch Aero Twin blades for the front but see the recommended one for the back is the standard Bosh Rear Blade.

Any reason why the Aero Blade 16" shouldn't be used as a rear wiper?

Be nice if they all matched

It’s to do with the plastic clips that now form the centre of most wiper blades. The rear fitting requires a bar to latch onto rather than a loop on the steel arm itself. All aero blades are supplied with plastic centres and so would not click into the rear arm.

Went through this exact dilemma yesterday as my rear needs replacing and I found a new 16” aero blade in the shed… my delight was soon tempered

Ha, thanks for the info! Saves me some time.

I only really need to replace the rear, but I like the aero blades so decided to do the front aswell.

Found the set I got or can buy just the rear

Also found a chart , ref rear blade is H403

2005 Discovery 3 4.4 V8 HSE Auto Cairns Blue

I used to be an aero twin fan for a long time but now I’ve converted to Valeo Silencio X.TRM. I put 2x 550 mm blades and they fit well. I think officially one is supposed to have a 550 mm and a 530 mm blade.
