I purchased a DIY kit with laser precut films. Cost me about £40-00 thought it would be a doddle! I was wrong after wasting 3 I gave up and had it done professionally. I had all rear windows done (not fronts or windscreen)and was thrilled with the work carried out. You really cannot tell that they have been done you would think that they are factory fitted! I do not usually recommend garages etc but if you are local to telford I can highly recommend shropshire tints (http://www.shropshiretints.co.uk) ask for Glen. All this too for the bargain price of £150-00. I was amazed !

No problem Glen does a lot of work for local garages and prepares new cars before they are delivered to customers. I do not think dealers would use him for this purpose if his work was not first class? I thought his work was great and the price very reasonable.

I couldnt make my mind up about tints, so I've gone for the OE shades for the rear. Really nice fit, and can be removed in the "darker" months.
AlVolvo XC90 B5 Plus Dark
Gone - MY18 D5 HSE - Corris on 22's with Black Pack
Now gone - MY16 D4 SE Tech, Loire Blue, Almond Leather, Privacy, plus some other goodies.
Old - MY12 D4 SDV6 XS Auto - Ipanema Sand with Almond Leather - Plus other niceties, and D4.com sticker
Older - D3 TDV6 XS Auto - Lugano Teal with Almond Leather, 20" Stormers, Shiny Tailpipes, DVD/TV - and obligatory D3 sticker
Ancient - D3 TDV6 S - Tonga with Ebony, 20" Stormers, satnav & DVD
I've had the OE shades in mine since early 2006. They're a top quality piece of kit.
I've had a couple of the clips drop off over the last 4 years but I just superglue them back on and they stay put then. Much cheaper than tints too and like Al says, you can take them out in the darker months if you want to although I don't as they do a good job of stopping prying eyes from seeing into the load compartment. Now an ex-D3 owner after 7 happy years. Miss the car but not the big bills

When you change vehicles, you can take your OE's with you!
