Rear Tailgate wont open

Hi All,

First post on here, for some reason the tailgate wont open off the key fob or on the tailgate handle. doesnt even make a click sound? if i follow some strange ritual of standing on one leg lock the car unlock the car start the car and then open by handle it sometimes works.

Any ideas?

Buy a new car maybe??

You have to be patting your head at the same time or the ritual doesn't work Laughing

Seriously though - given the age of your car I would get the dealer to sort it. Lots of 'how to' threads on here - just use the 'search' facility

My switch in the upper handle was playing up I think I opened using the lock/unlock button on the dash pressing both together worth a try Range Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8 what a car

Thanks Furnitureman, it works sometimes, dealer seem to be on top of it, just a pain as cant access the boot until its fixed realy
