Rear spoiler failed led brake light
Hi folks need some advice on how to go about replacing the rear spoiler led light as I have one led that has fused.
Can the whole LED light unit be replaced for a new one or does the spoiler have to come off as I cant see any screws for removal?
Need some advice before I phone the dealers to book her in.

D4 is under warranty but the spoiler I supplied new in a box was from another land rover dealer and they fitted it to my vehicle from new. I just cant remember which dealer I bought it from in case they turn round and say it was not bought from us.

Assuming it is the same as the D3, it is bonded into place with the stickiest glue known to man
I assume it is the same way they are fitted to the spoilersMy D3 Build Thread

Just been through that... and yes, they had to rip the whole thing off and re-fit. It was only a few LED's in mine that had failed, but once it's half gone it's an MOT fail. Luckily, mine was under warranty as it was a dealer fit from new... but Westover in Christchurch still managed to scratch it, so I'm on my second spoiler which still isn't right.
I begged them to throw it away and put a normal high level brake light on... but this couldn't be done under warranty!!!

All genuine LR components come with a 12 month warranty which can be claimed at any LR franchised agency including labour, even if you have fitted it yourself following the supplied instructions, you just need proof of purchase. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Well folks after all the discussion with many Land Rover dealers I was told the same spoiler has to be replaced. Anyway I was not happy with this decision and decided to do my own homework.
After a lot of reasearch I managed to obtain a replacement brake light unit direct from Land Rover and I am well pleased that I don't need to remove the spoiler

Just need to be delicate upon removing the old unit and replace with the new one.
Happy Days
