rear screen, dab, hrw issue

All
Had a very odd altercation with a lorry on Monday which caused rear screen to shatter, luckily that was the only damage and I wasn't hurt although I do think some of my fillings are still loose Laughing

Spoke to my windscreen fella who had a 2 day lead time, my garage is full of a project car so I took the decision to buy a battered tailgate and plop it on to keep the d4 in use and dry. It came off a 2016 breaker and was complete with the loom etc so was plug and play. Mine is a 63 plate.

The hrw works well - but kills the DAB signal till switched off. The only difference I could see was there was a black wire in the washer pipe grommet, cut by the breaker, that's not present on my car.

Anyone shed any light on this? Is the DAB aerial different on later cars, or the wiring loom somehow different? Or something else like a faulty HRW?

I have the option of cutting this screen out of said battered tailgate and my chap will bond in to my tailgate for a drink while he is here doing another job for me on a different car, pressure would be off till then, but I don't want to put it in if its actually the screen thats incompatible - can't check the part # of the old screen as its mostly lying on the m25 in 4 million pieces.......

Thanks
