Rear power socket
Noticed the other day that the rear power socket on the side boot panel in my D3 is not working. Now I am no electrical boff so do not want to play with this myself but was wondering before I take it to the car electrical repair place, do all models that have the socket have them connected up and running as standard
Also thinking about it, can this be done under warranty as the car is still under 3yrs old and to be honest why should I pay someone to repair it when it is a fault with the car, or are basic electrics not covered.
Cheers all I have something to say! It's better to burn out... than to fade away!

Hi Wiggs, yea I have tried it with the ignition key in and the engine has been running, will have a look at the fuses later today as not had time to play about with it. But will be checking these before I take it anywhere.I have something to say! It's better to burn out... than to fade away!

Steve, beware of flat battery in about the predicted 6 hrs
the kergan ... think the fuse is near the bottom of the glove box fuse box. Take care not to drop the fuse puller down behind the kickplate Long succession of Disco's since 2001...
