Anybody any tips for removing rear light cluster....
Followed instructions in handbook but isn't moving and concerned that too much shoving and pushing will break something!
Maybe light has become "stuck" to bodywork but just wondered if there were any tricks to remove without fear of damage ?
Regards

You and everyone else - they are not easy!! Plastic spatular from the kitchen seems to be the best so far (paint friendly). If you find anything else that helps, come back and tell the rest.
(Oh and someone to catch the darn thing when it comes loose.)

I agree with Robbie... They are not easy and I would say fortunately so as, if I remember correctly, they are simply "plugged in"...
I am uploading pictures, at the moment, in my gallery, which shows how we (SWMBO, her father and I) installed those lamp protections from L.R at the back and at the front...
I do not remember too many difficulties with the rear lamps but more with the ones in the front which were harder to remove...

Once you have removed the screws, pull (or prise with spatula) at the bottom first.

at least they're easier than the rear clusters on the D1. A real knuckle scraper (especially if you had the 3rd row of seats!) 2005 Disco 3 TDV6 7 seater. Leather, DVD, fully colour-coded.

I removed my rear lamps today, many times while fitting lamp guards. It is easy when you know how - Garath's advice is best - use a plastic kitchen spatula and (when the two screws are removed) prise the bottom out first, then the top. They come out easily. Matt
