Rear Ladder Install - Alternative to Rivnuts
Need to fit my ladder and have found that as usual with D3 accessories it needs a rivnut expander
Anyone got one I could borrow (West Yorks area) or any suggestions as to alternative means of fitting? Are they expensive tools to buy?2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

Rivnut puller
CFB, I am in exactly the same situation as yourself right now. Searching for Rivnut puller has so far today been fruitless. Did you have any luck, if so what was the brand/make and was it a chain store (Machine Mart or other)?

Managed without
Drilled the hole out to 9mm as in the instructions but drilled right through the 2 skins then I put the rivnuts in from the back so the flange halted further progress and threaded the bolt in the front in the normal way, they then grip as they are pulled tight into the tailgate, worked a treat 2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto
