rear door stuck, but can be opened with remote key

Hi All
I could not open rear door (upper one) but if I use remote key it's opened. What could be the issue?

Do you hear a sound when trying to open it manually? If no, the handle might not be working since you’re able to open it from remote (with the key fob I assume).

Do search for “upper tailgate”, plenty of people have had similar issues in the past. Thumbs Up

Simple to change the switch component in the rear door handle, for some reason LR don’t just sell the rubber covered switch for a discovery but do for others Rolling Eyes

The switch is a Ford component which just needs two wires connecting with the two from the original handle
 Must stop buying shiny toys....
