Quick question.... (for a change)
The 4x4 info screen shows a rear diff lock (unlocked) does that mean that one's been fitted in error or is that the norm?

If yours is the top spec, I think its norm, but we can find out on Sunday, when it locks and unlocks.

Stick it in Rock Crawl and go for a short drive, I should lock up if it's there
Must admit I thought it only showed one lock if the rear one wasn't there, but I'm probably wrong

If yours is the top spec, I think its norm, but we can find out on Sunday, when it locks and unlocks. it's still an option on the HSE sunday will prove it one way or another

My understanding is there is an automatic rear diff lock fitted ( controlled by terrain response) The option is to have a manually swithables one.

The option is to have the automatic rear locker fitted, otherwise you get the standard non-lockable rear diff. The centre automatic locker is standard on all models. There are (currently) no manual operation options available as is the case with the majority of the Terrain Response system

ARB may be able to supply one of their fantastic manual control Air Lockers, but not for a while yet.

It only uses the rear lock when it has to do. The D3 is good enough to go most places without it in reality.
