Yep The pipes all follow the original route, and as best I could, are the same shape. Kunifer is quite easy to work.
I bought a Sykes Pikavant flaring tool (my old one had seen too much action) and that made flaring the ends really easy.Richard

If cutting the old line and joining to it, which is the sensible thing to do, be sure before you start that your pipe flaring tool will handle the original very hard material as well as the softer replacement.
When I did mine I spent more time running around local motor factors trying to buy a decent tool than doing the job.

Sorry to resurrect this, but I have just found a slight drip from a rear brake pipe above the diff ….I had to slam on the brakes hard the other day, this may have been the final straw for a corroded area. Looking to possibly get the Advanced Factors brake pipe kit for the flexi’s and short rear metal pipes……Are these any good ? Are they genuine LR hoses in the kit, or aftermarket ? Will also probably get Kunifer pipe and fittings from Automec. Not done this before, so would be grateful of any info, First thing I need to know is what type of flare ( double or bubble ? SAE or DIN ? etc ) I should attempt on the steel brake pipes I will need to cut, because this will determine the type of connector I need to join the pipes. Thanks Richard, I noticed that you had used the connectors with the male ends. I’m unsure whether my flaring tool will do the correct flare for these, it is a 3/16 SAE hand held tool which I believe will form either a SAE bubble flare or if you use a 2nd former, it will do an SAE double (inverted) flare. I’m not sure whether to use the other type of connectors with female each end using male pipe ends. Was there a particular reason why you used the type you have just sent links to ? Yes, that'll work fine. Remember to put the nut on the pipe first (I've made that mistake before!) and do your first flare (bubble as you call it) then put the inverted cone in as the second op.
The Kunifer pipe flares nicely. The trickiest bit is flaring the steel pipe while it's still attached to the car. I used my Sykes flaring tool under the car, held in a loose vice on the floor.
Remember to identify near side and off side before you cut the old pipe! They are not necessarily round the right way on the car.Richard

Many thanks Richard, I’ll start ordering the parts, and do a few ‘trial’ flares beforehand. Yes I can imagine it’s easy to forget to put the nut on the pipe first D3 owned from new, P017 brake recall, BAS FBHIC, new FBH, LR013487 oil pump, new water pump. RRS front lower suspension arms. I’ve just fitted new flexi’s and short steel pipes on each of the rear suspension arms down to the calipers. Got to get the exhaust off, before I can do much more Looking at the fitting in the flexi at the top of what I have just replaced, I think this accepts a DIN flare, (at least that is what the old rusty pipe flare looks like). I’m unsure what flare people have done to this end of the ‘new’ cunifer replacement pipe for it to be successful. The front end where connecting to the original steel pipes will be SAE double (inverted ) flares, as per Richards pics. Will I need to buy a flaring tool that does DIN flares to complete the rearmost flares ? Or do I use the SAE tool that I have, but only use the first ‘forming’ die in the process, therefore not ‘inverting’ the flare ?D3 owned from new, P017 brake recall, BAS FBHIC, new FBH, LR013487 oil pump, new water pump. Yes, exactly that.
The single flare creates in effect a double sided cone that goes between the flare nut, and the cone inside the flexi fitting. Richard
