Which rear brake pads to get?

Hi folks,

Need to change my rear brake pads... 2005 Disco 3. Any particular ones to go for and / or avoid??

Just wanted to get an up to date picture on what the great and the good are using Smile

Cheers...

I have used Brembo front and rear with no issues. Eurocarparts usually have some from of sale every few weeks thats where I bought mine from.

Avoid anything that is sold as 'OE' without giving a brand.
I had some Allied Nippon pads fitted to a car (not by me) and it felt like the brakes had failed.

I tend to buy Ferodo, who I believe are the OEM supplier for LR anyway, although I've fitted Pagid and Brembo with no issues either.

Are Textar any good? Not one I've heard of, but clearly I'm no expert Laughing

some people on here have used Textar, and like them. I personally haven't tried them.

Same group as Eicher & Pagid IIRC.
I think Textar are the same as one of them.
I've had Eicher and Pagid on the same car and the Eicher were not as good but not a disaster by any stretch.
Not sure where Textar lines up in the range.
