Which rear brake pads to get?
Hi folks,
Need to change my rear brake pads... 2005 Disco 3. Any particular ones to go for and / or avoid??
Just wanted to get an up to date picture on what the great and the good are using

Isofix car seat, Isofix baby seat base, crushed carpet crisps, sticky leather seats (next to Isofix car seat), upgraded front rubber cup holder things, wired up USB charge and audio for my iphone, side steps, de-tango'd lights, H7 OSRAM Nighbreakers, LED side lights, LED reverse lights, clear repeaters, Narpy Grill... tools I don't know how to use.... yet..

I have used Brembo front and rear with no issues. Eurocarparts usually have some from of sale every few weeks thats where I bought mine from.

Avoid anything that is sold as 'OE' without giving a brand.
I had some Allied Nippon pads fitted to a car (not by me) and it felt like the brakes had failed.
I tend to buy Ferodo, who I believe are the OEM supplier for LR anyway, although I've fitted Pagid and Brembo with no issues either.Black 05 TDV6 HSE Auto

some people on here have used Textar, and like them. I personally haven't tried them.Richard

Same group as Eicher & Pagid IIRC.
I think Textar are the same as one of them.
I've had Eicher and Pagid on the same car and the Eicher were not as good but not a disaster by any stretch.

Just fitted Brembo pads front and rear and so far so good
As for brake dust, not the best I’ve had but also not the worst.Discovery 4 HSE
