I have a 'squeaking' coming form the rear near side brake! it only starts when it get hot (5 - 10 miles) and when I stop the disc on that side is much hotter than the rest! Any idea's as to the cause. 2010/60 Discovery 4 XS Zermatt Silver - Privacy Glass, Timed Climate (with remote), Voice, 4x4 screen, Bong on lock/un-lock (Pete BellAutos)

One of a few things.
Rear brake caliper could be sticking causing it to overheat
Rear electronic parking brake shoes could be sticking with crud inside or the epb shoe delaminating or just needing adjustment
Rear wheel bearing failing, causing excess heat and the noise
Jack the wheel up and see if there is movement of the wheel on the hub. Bodsys Brake Bible

Can the EPB make a low pitched scraping noise if poorly adjusted or dirty inside? I can hear a gentle chafing kinda noise from somewhere in the back, which disappears as the car comes to a halt..
