Rear bar and wheel carrier
I've had a request for some pics of my new rear bar and wheel carrier. It's a Kaymar bar which incorporates led lights, indicators and reverse lights. the new design has recessed housings for the D4 park sensors.
I do occasionally get a beep from the sensors when it picks up the wheel, but there is an aluminium shield under the wheel which is supposed to prevent this.
The wheel carrier sits on a stub axle and has a small strut to help it open. The strut has a device that can be moved into place to stop the wheel closing on a side slope. The carrier also has a high lift jack mount and an aerial mount. That's why they're 795 bucks.
there is another stub axle on the near side with the cover on. a second wheel carrier or jerry can holder can be installed.
Lastly a gratuitous shot of my Black Widow drawers with fridge slide incorporated into the top on the left.
