Rear air con pipe leak??

Hi, I have a disco 3 hse model with rear air con. The air con has stoped working and has no gas. I've checked underneath to find six inch wet patch between the pipe unions on the rear front and rear rear pipes but when cleaned off I can't find any leaks holes ect. Could it be faulty seals. I have had seals out to inspect and they look ok. Also have anyone replace the rear pipes as my local indie don't want to touch it he thinks it's a body off thanks

Search on here quite a bit of info, cheapest way is to fit the genuine land rover blank pipe which gives you normal front only a/c and you lose the rear set up a/c, heater still works, blank pipe is circa 70/80 quid.
The rear a/c pipes are 150 plus for each section and there are four sections!

Thanks for the info I have seen other posts regarding only using the front but I'm very fussy with my car and like to keep the rear working and as original as possible.

No worries, Ive doen two of the four rear ones on mine, the common one which runs the length of the inner sill and the one from the rear of the sill to over the rear axle, both done on the floor with air susp at off road height.
Sill one 4/10 for difficulty
One over the diff 8/10 for difficulty.
Both would be much easier on a two post ramp.

Thanks for the info. What did you need to do to replace the diff one. Did the compressor need to come off or bend the pipes ect

Yes for the pipe from sill to over diff compressor off easy job, both pipes are siamesed together with metal clips, remove clips and feed pipes in on their own then refit clips, bit of bending and rubix cube thinking needed!

Sill pipes need air susp air tank removing.

None of that once its up in off road mode it stays up even with the tank and or compressor disconnected, obviously a few stands are a must if you want to carry on living!

Is that a 100% certain? I'm always wary of an Indiana Jones moment on mine, and put axle stands under the big rails.
