Nice quote
After the tow company freed the vehicle, witnesses say the man wanted to drive it, even though its engine was making strange sounds and its lights were flashing

As I'm sure you've seen the video that Megan and I took this afternoon, you'll now see the video displaying the sounds and electrical damage via flashing headlights, as this kid decided to drive off the beach. The waves beat the hell out of this car, but the owner arrogantly told me that it's okay because it's waterproof. He also felt that it was necessary to keep it running cuz if he shut it off it would not start again. He refused to take the advice to get rid of it because the vehicle's a limited edition.

Air intake on the side that was battered by waves.... No wonder the engine will sound like a skeleton rubbing one out in a biscuit tin..
I can imagine any dealer of any kind in that area will be looking at any white Discovery 4 getting traded in with great suspicion.
"why does this one smell like it's spent half an afternoon in the sea?"
"Erm, i'll take a grand less for minor water intrusion"
I name this car The SS discovery, may god protect all those who sail in her, except the head that parked her here. All aboard The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;
They just make the best of everything they have.

I presume this person was an American - which may explain a lot.A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.
