Okay brilliant - thanks for all the advice.
So the plan is screwfix to pick up a cheap jigsaw on the way home them off we go. Looks like the trick is getting the clips off without breaking them. Wonder if screwfix sell something suitable to put underneath and pop the clips off. Suppose would have to be an angled spanner like thing that was very thin.. hmmmmm

Sooooooo the sills came off nice and easily - I even got stuck in with my (screwfix) jigsaw and cut all the holes out. It was going brilliantly. Until I tried to screw in the supplied bolts. The first one was okay - but on one side 4 put of 6 won't go! Literally. As in socket and wrench - won't go. Went to a local shop to get some more m8 bolts and apparently they are imperial or something. Thought I'd figured it - but when I got back the other ones won't go in either!
So I'm a but stuck! Lovely holes cut put in the plastic though 😂😂

Its a strange one - there is thread in the sill and the bolts are m8 so the right ones. Its almost as though there is a build up of rust or something in there. One I forced through, and once it's been in once it does up. But it was a real struggle and broke 2 sockets!!!
Interestingly the black tape wasn't there and the will looks like it's been removed before so I wonder if somethings occurred.
Might be a job for a mechanic though or someone with a better socket set!
