Re-fitting LR jack in boot

Had a flat tyre couple of weeks ago. Managed to change it with the LR kit but I cannot for the life of me work out how to put the jack and rods back in the rhs cubby bin. Could anyone take a pic or help please.

Thanks chaps

Why? I used mine extensively over the weekend to remove all the wheels and paint the hubs. It worked perfectly. Absolutely no reason not to use it for wheel changing as long as you use the wheel chocks supplied.

I tried to use my trolley jack to start with but couldn't find a safe jacking point as it moved around while the car was lifting. At least the scissor jack has a locating hole.

The stripping of threads on the LR supplied jack is well documented across this forum. For the sake of yourself and your family, most would not recommend using it, even in an emergency!

Ah, thanks for that. It's news to me. If it is that dangerous, I wonder why LR haven't changed them. Surely they are exposed to a huge damages claims if a jack fails, especially if there are reports of failures.

Jack is fine for occasional use, just use carefully and keep an eye on wear and tear. See photos below. Fat end on tool roll must go at the bottom, with LR logo upside down. Thumbs Up

Went for a job as a human cannonball. Not the right calibre.
