Ray's Spare Wheel Protector |
|
Hi
I bought one of these the other day and it looks very good. However.....I didn't see any instructions with the packaging.
How do I fit the cover? I'm familiar with the spare wheel winch, but once I've lowered the wheel, how do I install the plate?
Please bear in mind that I am not very mechanically minded, so please keep it "Dick and Dora". 2014 - D4 2010 HSE Nara Bronze

Put the spare wheel over the protector and then feed the end of the winch through the centre of the spare wheel and into the hole on the top of the protector. Sill protection - LED internal lights - LED reverse lights - boot liner - Dog Guard - Rock sliders

Easiest way is drop the wheel onto two bricks/bit of wood to keep it off the floor, let whch carry on down. Put T piece into hole & winch back up again Paul.
