Rattle from top of dash

I have a rattle from the top of my dash, seems to be somewhere around the center speaker. Anyone had any similar problems or have any idea how to fix ??

I had a rattle that "appeared" to eminate from the same location. Turned out to be the panel above the pedals in the footwell Shocked

I've just started getting the same. I get a rattle when engine is idling then it goes when revs rise.

I would be interested to hear if you have located the source and how you fixed it.

Cheers,

Simon

Found mine...

I noticed a rattle at my center dash speaker which is most noticeable when someone is talking on the radio (no music). I popped the grill off and it was still there. I then placed my finger on the tweeter in the center of the speaker and it went away. Looks like I am guessing (who hoping) that this is a bad speaker rather than a bad speaker design.

Didn't they write a song about that....something like "Dash, rattle n roll" by Big Joe Turner, he was years ahead of his time. Shocked
