Hi,
Got told today that are going to ship my car to Sydney to an "authorised panel repairer", so waiting for the details of this. I have asked if it could go to Newcastle instead and be done there and also an issue is, what do we do without a vehicle for the period of time!

They should provide you a loan car for this period, if not contact LR Australia. I will say let them do this with the preferred panel repairer. I am not sure what LR has done as my 2011 discovery had no issues.

So glad I found this forum and this thread. I'm new to Land Rover. Picked up a 2015 LR4 yesterday. A "certified pre-owned" dealer loaner HSE with 6,000 miles.
It wasn't until I was driving home from the dealership that I noticed this annoying rattle right near my ear. One of those sounds I knew immediately was destined to drive me insane.
Armed with the info from this thread, I'm feeling pretty optimistic about getting this rattle fixed.

Today mine was checked by the dealer and here are the findings
" Confirmed rattle at a B pillar ( LH & RH) removed all b pillar trim panels. inspected seat belts for rattle - ok Confirmed rattle from spot welds on upper B Pillar posts. Located LTB00872v2 on TOPIX, Customer to re-book for body shop repair"
Dealer has mentioned that they have repaired few will take 3 days with the body shop
Cheers

Yesterday my discovery came back from the body shop after overnight stay. Clicking sounds are gone now I can enjoy the ride, however instead of leather smell now I can smell the paint. I believe it was a minor work as I had seen the invoice for $230.

Yup - know what you mean ...... sometimes (depending on temp and humidity it seems...) mine still annoyingly clicks in my right ear...... despite the TSB allegedly being carried out - car away for a week or more as far as I remember - no smell of paint though - was it ever really carried out?
I figure I shall have to live with it as it so random...... little to no chance of the dealer/garage hearing it....
