Does it happen under braking or all the time?

Drop link bushes are tired or/and lower front suspension bushes are shot.

Mines doing the same under braking. Like a machine gun!

Accompanied by brake judder. Got MOT on 21st so will see what happens then.

I suspect it will need at least a front wishbone, possibly more because I took it along a rough track the other day and the steering felt very loose.

Hmmm... I don’t have those and I replaced the ARB bushes front and rear 1 - 1 1/2 years ago. TBH I didn’t think the extra shims were needed anymore? Somehow I assumed that those were a stopgap measure at the time and the bushings were slightly different from some date forward. Mine are genuine.

i've ordered them anyway; they are $5 for the 4
as well as new bushings, brackets and bolts. So hope it warms up enough for me to fit them (working on a car outside in -20oC condition is not fun when your fingers stick to the chassis)
