Received the latest flyer from Go Outdoors with details of all their Xmas specials recently. One in particular caught my eye - one day only (1st Jan) a Paramo Aspira Jacket RRP £260 reduced to £125.
Great deal I thought so popped down to Stockport this morning to have a look at it and try on etc before deciding whether I would go back on New years Day (with a hangover) to buy one.
No flaming stock! and won't be any either. Asked one of the ladies if they'd put them all in the back to bring out on the day but no, they just don't have any. How crap is that! Nationally advertise something at a great price to draw people in and don't bother to get the stock in. 
Might check other stores or just sack it for something else.
Good deal though for anyone with stock at their local branch.  Badda bing.......How you doin'?

Get them to check stocks at other stores and pull one in for you.
To show your commitment you can even pay up front, with the proviso being that it fits correctly and your happy with the quality. I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

Apparently the ''buying in' is out of the local stores control.
They won't send them 'inter store' either. don't know if that is normal practice or just cos its a special. Although, its a good deal I don't like chasing people to give them business. Think I will email head office for a moan though to see if they suggest anything. Badda bing.......How you doin'?

Bit crap you cant check store stock like Maplins etc!
Drove past Sunday morning 11am,(as its round the corner) carpark was full,to overflow!! The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side.

I know it's an instore promotion but on DG's link they've got an order hotline.
You can always call them and see if they can give you info on where stocks are.
You can then phone that store and reserve/buy it [paying with credit card].
They might even post it out to you [at cost].

Good result - as a result of complaining I picked up my new Paramo Aspira jacket today in a better green colour than the blue advertised and at the stated offer price which should be for tomorrow only.
