Ended up with Grabber AT3s, but would still be interested to see how you get on with them.
Could do with a side on, close up pic of them and a close up angled shot. ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

I was holding out for the AT3 too but at that price figured they were worth a gamble.
They look great, ride smoother than the 265/45/20 I had on there previously. Can't comment on off road etc as yet as just fitted them last week. They're louder than the road tyres fitted previously but I wouldn't say they're intrusive. First Landrover and first A/T tyres so nothing to compare to but can only really notice it with the music off at 40-50mph+
Hoping to get some greenlaning / off road done over Christmas. I keep checking the thread on the forum but doesn't seem to be much going on in Warwickshire
What was your insurer's reaction when you informed them that you were fitting Radar Renegade AT/5s?

They're rated 112v, I've not advised my insurers as I wasn't asked what tyres were fitted when I took out the policy I would assume so long as they are compliant in terms of being correct for the rim and road legal it's none of their concern ?

I noticed the AT3 have crept up slightly to about £130

They aren’t the correct size for the vehicle. As such it may well be classified as a modification to standard specification.
I’m only playing Devils advocate, but if it were me I’d be declaring them to my insurers. Actually I’d have asked them first. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Interesting, I'll ask. So are 255/55/r20 standard ?
I bought mine with 275/45/r20 fitted which I assume weren't standard ?

No. On the D4 the standard size tyres are 255-50-20 and 255-55-19
The vehicle was homologised with those tyre sizes and that’s why some insurance companies won’t like you changing the tyre size. Note I said “some”. 👍2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Best case is they won’t care, but get it confirmed. At least make a note of the time and date of the phone call and who you spoke with.
Some apply an additional charge.
Worst case is they refuse to cover you.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

They certainly look the part.
How do they perform on tarmac v road biased tyres?

I think they ride better than the previous set, they feel smoother and more player footed although the previous set were mismatched.
Was supposed to be green Laning tomorrow AM with the MROC locally but don't think I'll be able to make it due to other commitments.
But I will definitely update once we've got them muddy !
