I'm planning to put some spots on my rack
Not quite sure about the wiring though....

Not sure I would want to have anything bolted to the roof of the vehicle or cables going through the roof.
You can run the cables back along the rack and down behind the tail gate. There is space on both left and right sides for a double run of cable. I have plugs mounted there so I can take the rack off when I want.
The cables then run behind the rear light clusters into the vehicle. The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...
