A polish generally removes a fine layer of the topcoat, this leaves virgin paintwork and a gleaming finish. If you then applied a wax to this finish then it may be best left until you repolish. If the virgin paint is left try the Autoglym. It just means you don't have to polish again for a good couple of years or more. FFRR 2017 4.4SDV8 Autobiography. Cost so much I must be mad!

bkehoe wrote:Q8, do the tech guys at your dealers have to wash their hands before servicing your D3 rather than after? Looks like new! That wouldn't last here, I'd be gone 100m down the road and it'd be as dirty as ever. I usually just clean as best as I can with a jetwash under the arches.
It's very rare that we have rain here in kuwait and the streets are always dry and clean, so I don't bother if I did that detailed cleaning and polishing once every year '05 LR3 HSE V8 - Adriatic Blue - Larini Exhaust System - Lamp Guards - Dual battery system - Hidden 12k winch - Rasta Sump Guard

I have noticed that after a few weeks of motoring the black bits turn white in places, particularly in the winter. Autoglym "Bumpercare" does the job for me. *Disco3 7-seat Auto
