Quality build - speaker wiring

Hi, currently half way through installing an Amp after having upgraded the speakers, keeping factory head unit (base one) in my D3 GS. Decided to take speaker connections from the front left and rigth kick panels. Now you would expect the left kick panel to house the wiring for the left speakers but to my amazement when I cut the wires and checked which speaker went out, it was the one from the opposite side of the car Shocked Shocked
so left kick panel has front right speaker wiring, and rear left speaker wiring - WHY make it complicated
Right kick panel has the reverse.

Call me old fashioned back left should have left wiring Question Question or am I just being stupid

Sorry rant over!! Feel better now 8)

just installed my subwoofer, and the sub wires are run down the drivers side, even though the amp is on the passenger side. Really Censored me off as i had to take half the car apart just to take the other half apart when the most logical path would be the shortest. But your problem. wow haha
cant wait to experience it my self
