ok, so ive looked at / had alot of cars and i think the D4 is a very very good car.
I love mine.
I dont beleive it is built the best and some of the materials used are slightly cheap in unseen areas and some areas lack in the design stakes and i suppose it bothered me ever so slightly for a 50k car.
Now i have just looked after a good friends brand new Maserati granturismo for couple of weeks and today before he got back i decided to give it a quick wash.
Whilst from a distance the car looks lovely and the sound is well another level, the fit/finish/design is markedly worse than a D4.
Just one example is the key lock is a silver barrel type plonked right in the middle of the door (it looks like a 70,s Ford key barrel).
The badges on the rear pillars are silver coated plastic that looks like it came out of a pier vending machine with rough edges/silver coating peeling already to boot !
The list goes on......
Add to this, a 100k car - no keyless entry / no elecric mirrors etc etc (and this isnt ment to be the lightweight version ) I am now starting to be far more forgiving in my expectations of the 50k D4.....
So this is a good thing
cheers
og
ps
it does sound quite a bit better though

Favourite car would be a Maserati Quatroporte, but I suspect they are a nightmare to run
