Can think of quite a few people on here who could have wished for one of these before now........ The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

I saw that, excellent presentation and very good poker face.
I'll bet he was off the scale on the sphincter clencho-meter scale when they started offering him cash.

I think we've discussed this one before.
Great idea & worthy of the investment I'd say.
Maybe Ken or someone in a similar trade could get a group buy going? I'd certainly be interested.Bodsys Brake Bible

I thought it was excellent too still find it hard to believe that the fuel companies and car manfacturers have never resolved it themselves though 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Agree DG, but they did stop you putting 4* in an unleaded engine though, so why they never did it for petrol in a diesel...............

4* ...now there's a blast from the past 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I prefer the conspiracy theory on this one DG. I reckon the manufacturers could have resolved it a long time ago but they didn't see the point in developing it since it could only result in lost (service) sales for themselves and the dealers. No real reason for the fuel companies to develop something either as it would be another lost sale. The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

My Mum's FFRR V8 Diesel has a misfuelling gadget that prevents you putting petrol in it
Yes, but this one only costs £69.99 and not £69,999.99....... The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

I've sent them an enquiry for a price for 50 units for a Disco3 group buy.
And dropped a line to Martin I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I got one at the beginning of the year and posted photos of it here. All was well for a while until unfortunatly one day, it refused to allow any fuel to get into the tank (it was diesel before anyone says thats what its meant to do) it just kept blowoing back. Fortunatley someone was able to get a grip of it and remove it from the filler neck or I would have been stranded. I spoke to the manufacturer who sent a replacement, that one however would not let any fuel in right from the start. I got back in touch with them and recieved a full refund although they could find no fault with the unit. They thought there might be some sort of compatability problem and promised to let me know if they got the problem resolved, but as yet I have heard nothing.
