Prospeed Rack extra lashing points ?

As above i am after fitting some extra tie down point around the front of the Prospeed rack at the front around the plastic air deflector ?
Was wondering if anyone has modded theirs and if so which is the best way ?
Have also seen one on here with XRS bar on the front which looked good but where do ya get them from ?

Any advice appreciated

2008 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Java Black

Hi Sharky,

We can fit an XRS bar close to the front of the rack but it does mean cutting a small piece out of either side of the front cowling so the bar has somewhere to clamp around. I will email you a pic.

Ben, how do you mount a roofbox onto one of your racks? I presume some cross-members are required.

2010 Discovery 4 3.0 TDV6 GS Auto Nara Bronze

I mount my roof box straight on the rack to the mesh floor, it fits length ways by about 15mm

but has to be located in the centre of the rack due to the camber of the roof from left to right, as bolting/fitting the box to one side causes the roof box to flex on the bottom following the shape of the camber. Which results in it not closing properly or locking.
