I met Geoff. a while back in Warwichshire and found him to be a delight to talk to - sometimes can come over a bit direct on here but helps loads of people out and offered me help when my alternator failed. If I was closer, I'd use Geoff. when needed
As for Prospeed, I've a couple of bits off them and they can be a bit slow at times, but Ben is helpful when you speak to him and did come back very quickly to an email I sent earlier in the year. Mark.

Moo, I wasn't trying to "hang them out to dry" by posting here I was just providing some feedback on my experiences in the sponsor feedback section.
I actually ordered with Prospeed because of the good reputation their products have on the forum.
I did talk to them on the phone but the date given for delivery has long since passed.
If no one provides honest feedback then nothing will improve.
I'm sure this will get sorted out and hopefully the feedback will have a positive effect.D4 2016 Landmark, Waitomo Grey.

Gentlemen,
Firstly, I apologise for the tardy communication on all counts. Even to this post!
We are experiencing a few problems, which I will be very open about and go through below. We are also not experiencing some other problems which may (quite rightly) be rearing their ugly heads in peoples' minds, which I will also openly go through below!
I completely sympathise with everyone who has posted here, and you have every right to resort to this outlet at this stage.
I am also very very grateful to those of you who have contributed about your positive experiences with ProSpeed - our customers do mean a lot to us, and we really do appreciate it!
So, down to business.
Firstly, what are the problems NOT - we are not taking everyones money and disappearing down the swanny, I promise.
Secondly, we are NOT taking people's money because we need working capitol, we have always worked on a first come first served basis, and if there is a lead time (current situation accepted) you go into a build list on that basis. We have just continued to work on those same terms, never expecting the lead time to grow as it has.
Now to what the problems ARE!
One issue is growth. Now, I appreciate that there are many many things to be aware of with the growth of a company, and I can assure you we haven't been doing so without due care and attention. However, it's obvious that cracks have appeared, and mistakes have been made with our customer service and communication. This hasn't been intentional, and I am genuinely very sorry that we've ended up with a (much) less than acceptable customer experience recently.
We have experienced a large increase in volume of orders from the very beginning of this year. I said I would be honest and open, and I will be. This WAS NOT planned - we haven't changed our marketing strategy, or our advertising. We were aware of our available output, and intentionally didn't want to put it under undue pressure.
We rely heavily on technology to do what we do. We export our products to more than 40 countries worldwide, and enjoy a reputation for our specialist engineering services that is second to none. I'm not meaning to be big headed. The reason that's relevant is that we do it with a truly amazing team of people (I do love them, and we've worked together for more than a decade). But it's a small team, because we do it with technology.
That in turn is relevant because unfortunately, some of our technology has been letting us down recently, in that our robot welding cell has had an intermittent electrical fault that has severely hampered production. We manufacture everything, every single one of our products in house, in Yorkshire, ourselves. Apart from powdercoating and the actual moulding of the plastics. On another note, that's never going to change - we're not moving production anywhere else to gain volume. I believe very strongly that to do so is to loose track and control of what our product is, and why it holds the reputation it does.
In short, slower production, increased orders, and great difficulty in scheduling is the cause of the problems.
In the end, there is no excuse for poor customer service, so the above is all somewhat moot, but it's the true reason behind it.
So that leaves me to apologise once again, and assure you that we're doing everything we can to manufacture everything as quickly as we can. The final batch of products to catch up on all our orders should be completed in the next 2 weeks, just as a very general guideline.
Please email us on info@prospeed-group.co.uk for specific info on your order. I appreciate you may have done that to little or no avail so far, but we will get through everyone's enquiries as our priority starting right now. It may take a few days as Ben is currently on holiday, but we haven't forgotten you, and we WILL be in touch.
Many thanks for all your support and feedback both positive and constructively negative, we are listening, and we are changing things for the better,
