Agh yes, if you don’t have approach lights in the mirrors then the door puddle lights will work when the doors open regardless.012MY RRS 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography (Current)

So...all was well. The resistors from powerful we’re spot on. Soldered then in as recommended and work great.

fitted my door puddle projector lights at the weekend and they work brilliantly, very bright and clear and only £13. Plug and play and you also get some short extender 2 pin wires but i didn't them
^ just fitted 4 of these today having dropped heavy hints for birthday presents
Just been out and noticed that the driver's door lamp lights up for about 3 seconds then goes off. Passenger front door works fine. haven't checked the rears yet, but they were working when I fitted them.
I too got the extension leads and haven't used them .... wondering if they're included to make adding in a resistor easier ?.

I reckon you could be right, when o was test fitting and I was occasionally getting them on then they would go straight off again without the resistors.2015 D4 HSE Loire Blue

checked my under door puddle lights last night and the all stay on with doors open with no flickering. So far so good for £13
ref the interior LED's... I bought a bulk back of 10 for £9.99 off Amazon. they work fine in the interior over head lights but have started flickering on the sidelights and the number plate lights. Yeh you get what you pay for but I still have 501 LED of a different cheap brand to try2011 D4 XS 305 MY12 - gone but not forgotten

Hi
I have a discovery 4 and it didn’t have any lights in the doors just had blanks where lights should go so I got a set of led projector lights took off the door panel and found the wiring so plugged them both in and they do not work
Try one in the driver footwell light. Some LEDs just don't get on with Discos.
3 of my projector lights are fine. One strobes continuously..

Hi everyone
I still have had no luck in getting these puddle lights to work
I’ve heard you need a diagnostic tool to get them to work is this rights?
My disco 4 never had puddle lights just had blanks in the door panels but the wiring was there so was hoping it was just a simple plug and play
If anyone else has fitted lights and got them working please share your knowledge
