Programming after seat swap |
|
Hello chaps. First time poster.
Have a 2015 D4 with base seats and have swapped in the Windsor HSE seats from a car of the same year. Seats work perfectly. First up, got an airbag light and that was an opportunity to learn about seatbelt pretensioners! So out came the seats again, swapped the pretensioners in from the original seats and reinstalled. Great, no more airbag codes!
Just have a niggling code now showing up on the GAP.
DSM-Driver Seat is throwing U3002-81 (2F) Vehicle identification number - Bus signal/message failure - invalid serial data received.
I guess this means the car is aware that the seat is not original. How can I satisfy the CANBUS that everything is ok?

if you went from manual to electric seats or from low line electric with number of adjustment option you got to tell CCF what seat it is and apply

Think mine throws the same or similar after changing to electric seats. Doesnt affect anything so i just leave it. Could be a setting in the CCF somewhere

were they memory module equipped? you got to verify how many ways the news seat can be adjusted in and choose that option in CFF IMHO
if they have memory module that might be throwing error as ell
