I put my disco in for a new clutch a couple of months ago and my key fob appears now to open my boot rather than work my headlights as it did before. I have followed the mannual i.e. insert key, hold down third button, flash lights but no ping sounds. Am I going mad, or have I missed something here?

My manual states "ALL buttons on ALL keyfobs are disabled while ANY key is in the ignition"..... so I'd suggest you try again without the key inserted.

Guess the issue arose because they disconnected the battery while carrying out the clutch work.

I read a post recently that listed all the functions that the Landrover Button can do, and how to set them, but can't find it now. Can anyone point me in the right direction please. I knwo some of them are in the manual, but that's 250 miles away from me at the moment Confused

Thanks Thumbs Up

I thought the three oprions for the LR button on the key fob were:

Lights
Alarm
Lower suspension.

I would prefer to open the tailgate....how do you program it to do this, and are there any other option for the LR buttonthat aren't in the manual?

I'm sure I read that there were more than just the 3 options. Can someone remind me how to programme the key to control suspension height please.

This link http://www.landroverusa.com/us/en/_popups/...al_videos@ may be helpful if you want to have simple instructions relating to the programing of your key. The way that is described for lights, alarm etc, is the same for the opening of the tailgate.
