Profile info disappeared - ?

I had a few small items listed for sale on my signature strip (at the bottom of this/each post) :- short roof rails, bonnet lettering & brodit phone holder.

Now this info has disappeared (it was still there a few days ago), and I haven't been in to edit/delete from my 'profile'.

So just wondering why/how this personal profile data has disappeared ?

Confused ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Hi Ron, Rules are that nothing can be sold in signatures. The reason is to give us mods a chance to keep people with no post history or contribution to the site, from trying to get free advertising.

You are more than qualified to post anything you like for sale, but put it in the for sale section.

Apologies if you weren’t notified sooner, had a busy day. 👍

Possibly because your sig is not the place to sell items as selling on the site is governed by site rules. Ok mods, thanks for the replies.

But would it not have been better that I had been advised by pm that I'm not abiding by forum rules, rather than editing my personal profile detail without my knowledge?

If an explanatory pm were received I would then have gladly removed the listing without any issue.

Confused

As a side note, I do make donations to the forum for items I sell through it. ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Yep I edited it Ron, as it put listings for items (with no prices) across the whole forum, rather than in the correct channel - a thread/post in the FS forums.
