Problem after standard CJB exchange
My independent mechanic has just changed the CJB of my 2010 Disco 4 and it is impossible to load the vehicle configuration with the SDD because the key is not recognized.
Obviously something is missing in the procedure but he can't find what!
If you have any ideas, I'm a buyer.
Thank you
Nb: We have saved the as-built file and the current configuration file

What diagnostic tool are you using? Can you not attempt a re-code before proceeding?yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

Is it a brand new CJB? Or is it a used item? Why was it changed?

The CJB is new and therefore empty. The old one was changed following the permanent loss of the fuel gauge bar graph.

I’ve a feeling there’s something in the new CJB and KVM which stops any thing being programmed for the keyless access and start due to thefts involving key duplication. Have you put the original CJB back in and tried it?
You may need the special engineering mode on SDD which is probably limited to dealers and independents with a good subscription.

The old CJB was temporarily reassembled and there was no problem with the recognition of the key after it is already in "memory".
