| Problem accelerating and rumbling noise |

62 MY XS with 36k on the clock recently bought
Twice today on pulling fast out of a junction and trying to pull away quickly the car revved up to 4000 revs and would not change gear unless command shift was used
This cleared Aftera while but tonight noticed a rumbling sound on accelerating ( similar to if the exhaust was broken but cannot see anything
Does anyone have any ideas as to potential problem before I contact he stealer to look at it under warranty

Rumbling could be lower control arm bushings. Is there any clunking when braking?
Not sure about the shifter.. Have you changed the transmission fluid since purchasing?
