That does sound a fair price. I seem to remember I was quoted £350 and £450 for doing our old Merc ML.

Ar you having the front side windows (ie driver and front passenger door) done too? I decided not to, as it makes it a bit gloomy in the front when you're driving, and visibily is obviously reduced... However, getting all the rear done helps a lot if you have DVD in the back.

It's illegal to have the front side windows done - plod does not take kindly to this!

Its very illegal to do front side windows and/or more than certain percentages for other windows here in Australia however Plod here is too stupid/underresourced/not well trained to do anything about it. In fact here I have seen full front screens (illegally) tinted. Maybe you can send some plods down here to sort out the noisy WRX's etc. Save me confronting them - they um dont tend to come back after that for a while - race down the road going "blat blat blat" and then decide that another confrontation with me is not a good idea and they go and annoy someone else. Very Happy

My midnight tints cost £275 from the dealer, done before I collected it. Only got the windows behind the B pillar done due to legality of front windows. Does enhance the van look nicely Laughing

I was talking to the dealer this week about the privacy film and they do the front side windows, it is a very light tint but it reduces the uv light. They quoted £370 this was with 3m film.

Make sure that you get the same tinting company to re do the window as apperently I was told that there are many shade variations.

Anything more than standard tints on the windows between the A and B posts will be illegal.
We tested our BMW at work with a tintman and it was only just legal.
