So to prevent theft I....?

So to keep my D3 from taking an unauthorised journey I just need to fit a tracker, rewire the obd port and buy/make a conversion lead? Is that it?

My understanding is that smashing a window and plugging into the obd port, a thief codes an additional key...

I thought it was the later cars that were more prone to this.

But no harm in routing the ORB port elsewhere. and/or fitting a dummy
