| Premium Down But Excess Up |

For my insurance renewal, which is for a fully comprehensive protected policy for a 55 reg SE TDV6 automatic, the broker is changing me from one insurance company to another (as the current one is "no longer able to offer you cover"). However, this changes the premium and excess as follows:
From £285 with £200 excess
To £245 with £350 excess
Any thoughts?
