Power steering problem.
My 2013 has been losing power assistance to the steering at idle revs. It’s intermittent, but more likely when hot. Normal driving is fine, at anything above idle revs.
It shows itself when manoeuvring in a car park for example, and you have to turn lock to lock, the assistance will fade away. If I stop trying to turn the wheel, then try again it’s fine for a couple of seconds then firms up again. Blip the accelerator and it’s fine until it goes back to idle. Fluid is at correct level.
It recently had a new pressure hose from the pump, as it was picked up at the last service under the health check as leaking. Warranty Direct paid.
This problem was there before then, but is getting more pronounced now and becoming annoying. I had presumed the leaky pipe was the problem, but obviously not.
I presume it’s the pump on it’s way out? I’m not aware of it being a regular D4 issue though. Anyone had similar?

Yes and your need a good spray bottle with brake cleaner in to blast in the bottom as the filter doesn’t come out Wanted D4s non runners pm for competitive price.
