Power Folding Mirrors (US LR4) |
|
I have not found an exact answer as to which models of the LR4 comes with power folding mirrors (and keep forgetting to check at the dealer myself - won't be ordering until April). Wanting the adaptive headlights I will be getting an HSE Lux - not certain I need the Plus (though locking rear would be nice). I know the Lux Plus has this but curious if any other model does.
Thanks!

In the states it only comes with the Lux Plus package (360 Cameras and Heavy Duty Package) I do not believe you can order 360 cameras a la carte without the Lux Plus. In short, in the states unfortunately you have to have the cameras in order to have powerfold mirrors. I was at my dealership stopping by recently and there was a disgruntled Lux owner who thought he had powerfold and my Lux Plus did and after some research we discovered it is just part of the camera package! 2011 FFRR HSE LUX

Thanks Augustana, that's what I figured. The cameras are cool and may get some use if they are easy to use, and I wouldn't mind having the locking rear (an option otherwise available a la carte), so for power foldings, and possibly a few other little-published features, the plus may be worth the little extra. My garage stalls are all individual. When I first purchased my MDX I knicked the sides several times. And while the MDX is among the widest in its class, the LR4 is another two inches wider yet! Still plenty of space, but if I'm not paying attention....

I just took delivery of a Lux with surround cameras, folding mirrors, without the heavy duty package - so it is possible (msrp $58,565). Not sure if you could order the cameras without the Lux - although think this has changed for 2011.
