Possible Gearbox issue?? - CLUES PLZ |
|
1. I have noticed that if you hoof the car from standing, in Normal drive (not Sport, although it does do it in S mode also), the change from 1st to second gear is very notchy and feels like its slipping somehow!! Is this possible??
Has anyone else had this issue or is my gearbox telling me something?!
One things for sure....its annoying and has got to be resolved.
ALSO - can of worms and all that.....................
2. When stationary, it feels like the car is somehow lurching, but its not (if that makes sense, which it probably does not!), it almost feels like a engage and release, although the car is in Drive......that probably sounds like somebody from the 'planet wibble' had a spare 5 mins and wrote utter down on a postcard...if it does make sense, has anyone else had this issue or are experiencing this?
No 1 is more important...although saying that, mother always said No2 was!!

Difficult to tell what you are experiencing but if notchy it could be the enhancement program was not done or did not take.
The shunt when standing I think is normal mine does it, feels like it has been put in gear.
oops did not relise you were torque tuned. maybe speak to TFC first. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€
