Poor quality from rear view camera
Hello everyone,
I just got my MY14 D4 delivered. This is the AU spec base model TDV6 with Hi line audio and Tech pack.
The quality of the rear view camera is really poor (worse than my $100 aftermarket kit on the other car)
look at the return icon on the top left of the screen
the resolution is much worse than in other UI
Is my camera a aftermarket one? I found the RVC picture from land rover website as

Your image looks the same quality that I have with my retrofitted LR camera system. With regard to return arrow image I think it will depend how its character was generated for the display. Menu display compared to an 'overlay' on your VGA reverse image might be reason for reduced clarity.

Looks normal. Arrows, when in camera mode (reverse or surround) look as in lower resolution, but this is normal. Same applies when viewing tv. They should look perfect in all other modes, but from your photos I think they do.

I had a 2012MY with reversing Camera and now have a 2014MY with camera.

I had this on the sport from 2011 (+2013My) and this one...the quality is no worse, its the same I think.
Its definitely no better.Mike

I have the digital camera as I have surround cameras in my MY13; was using a loaner MY14 FL, and the quality of the video (analogue) is shocking in comparison.

That looks to have surround cameras fitted so is probably digital.
