Have a MY14 which I use my iPhone music on. That works fine (clumsy but fine) but if o try and play a podcast, it lists them all but when I select one it hangs for a few seconds , maybe 10, then starts playing the first song in my music. Tried different phones and same problem. Anyone have the same issue? I am plugging the phone in via USB - not sure if that is relevant.

have you tried playing the podcasts through Bluetooth ? I have not tried it, but I suspect you might have more luck as (they way i understand it) the phone treats the BT interface like an speaker and the phone does all the audio decoding so should stream the audio through the BT without any bother.
I expect that when you try to play the podcast through the USB interface, the D4's system is trying to make sense of the podcast files and cant properly decode them. Also Gone : MY14 D4 SDV6 HSE : Barolo Black + Almond

I find Bluetooth pairing for music works better on my 2013 D4. If I use the cable, the steering wheel controls don't work with google play, they do with BT. Its an Iphone 4S.

I find that once selected to play a podcast by using th ephone controls, such as bbc friday night comedy, I can skip through using wheel controls etc, and it displays podcast name fine. My issue is trying to choose to play a podcast from the dashboard. It clearly has a 'podcast' category, and it will list the podcast then the individual programme, but when you touch to play it doesnt work. Be curious to know if I have a fault or if this is normal behaviour.
I would like it to work as when I do a long journey, it is useful to be able to select it from dash.

I to have that exact same problem, sometimes I can get it to work by selecting a different artist and then going back to the podcast, bit hit and miss though. And its also with the BBC friday night comedy and the Alan Davis podcast, I think its the beeb c**king it up for us personally, but my LBC podcast seems to work fine most of the time. 2015 D4 HSE LUX Kaikoura Stone(sold)
