Welcome Larry - Sorry to hear about your problems.

On a D3 the first port of call for this sort of thing is to make sure the battery is fully charged.

I recently had a very similar issue just before my suspension compressor failed. I would suggest getting it back into "normal" ride height and leaving it there until you can get it checked out.

If you are in off road mode it should automatically lower to normal height when you travel above 25mph, if it will do this remove the fuse for the compressor to get mobile.
More info would help peeps diagnose your problem. Thumbs Up

It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Good idea about removing the fuse ^^^^^ Thumbs Up. This will stop the compressor doing anything it shouldnt whilst you get home.

Could do with saying precisely where in the lakes you are - quite a large area....

Thumbs Up

Have you had any reason to change the suspension height?- if you have the compressor will overheat very easily and give this fault.

You could always try the local franchisee, which isn't too far away & has a good reputation:-

Lakeland Land Rover
Torver
Nr Coniston
Cumbria
LA21 8BJ

Phone: 01539 441317

https://www.lakeland-landrover.co.uk/

They are probably 30 minutes or so away, c. 15 miles.

^^^^ Likely your best bet. They will have a diognostics machine that wont be VIN locked so can look at any Land Rover Faults.
