MP3's can be in different sizes as in quality,
128kbps - average, some noticeable quality loss
160kbps - slightly better, but still not perfect
192kbps - very popular trade off between quality/size
256kbps - high quality, file sizes getting large
320kbps - excellent quality - huge mp3 file sizes
could it be that the D4 dun't like the bigger sizes? java Black D3 gone : (
Club Lux : ) GONE : (

Hi Dad
Good idea but I don't have songs with bitrates above 320 kbps and tried also to recode the critical files with 256 kbps flat without success.
Strange behaviour of the Entertainment System (ok, it entertains us, but I'm not sure if that type of try-and-error entertainment was the goal, which LR wanted to achieve )

The brands l mentioned just didn't work at all for me. I have them all in MP3 format and at various quality and I have something like 3000 on mine.
